Abstract

Ruptura de Multiples Aneurismas Cerebrales Asociado a Sindrome de Sjögren Secundario: Reporte de un Caso

We present a case of a 42-year-old patient with a history of secondary Sjögren's syndrome, primary rheumatoid arthritis, endometriosis, and arterial hypertension, who presented with a vascular headache with radiological studies suggestive of aneurysm of the right internal carotid artery and artery right middle brain. Subsequently, endovascular treatment of the right middle cerebral artery bifurcation aneurysm was performed with a flow diversion stent and endovascular treatment of the right V4 segment dissecant with Coils and a right vertebral artery balloon. The next hour after surgery, the patient was unconscious, so a simple CT scan was ordered, which showed intracranial bleeding, so the patient was operated on with an external ventricular drain. Days later, the patient died from complications inherent to bleeding.
